Fenix CL26R is an outdoor lantern with a wide range of uses. Thanks to its high durability, weight of only 165 g including the battery, and outstanding performance, it will be appreciated not only by hikers. The maximum output of the lantern is 400 lm and the beam distance reaches an impressive 25 metres.
The lantern is equipped with SMD diodes and red LEDs. The SMD diodes offer 6 different light modes with an output of 400 lm (runtime 5 h), 150 lm (runtime 15 h), 40 lm (runtime 30 h), side lighting 25 lm (runtime 58 h), bottom lighting 25 lm (runtime 58 h), or bottom lighting 3 lm (runtime 240 h). The red LEDs then provide 1 lm either as constant light (runtime 200 h) or flashing (runtime 400 h).
It is powered by a rechargeable 18650 battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which is charged via a micro USB connector. In an emergency, however, you can replace it with two CR123A batteries. Under the Fenix logo on the front of the lantern you will find the control button with battery status indicator. A long press is used to switch the lantern on and off. A short press when it is on switches between modes. A double click when it is on switches the lantern to the red modes.
The lantern is made of durable polymer, which means it easily withstands a drop from a height of 1 metre, so you don’t have to worry about anything happening to it if it falls off a table. At the same time it boasts an IP66 rating. It can therefore withstand even heavy rain. It has a hanging loop and a thread for mounting on a tripod.
