Two grub screws and the supplied Allen key are used for vertical and horizontal adjustment of the beam. You will also find 3 LR41 batteries in the package. The laser is operated easily using a button that just needs to be pressed in; the button on the underside is used to pull out the entire laser unit.
The German company Umarex, specifically their division T4E (Training for Engagement), presents the second generation of the best-selling revolver for rubber and pepper projectiles called TR50 Gen2. It is clear that the manufacturer listened to customer feedback and made welcome changes, while at the same time not unnecessarily altering anything that works flawlessly.
The most significant difference compared to the original version (11J) is the increase in power up to 13J, which places it among the most powerful short RAM weapons in .50 calibre.
The second major change is the new valve for activating the 12g CO2 cartridge. It has been redesigned so that it can easily be loosened by hand without the need to use an Allen key. It still performs its function flawlessly – in case of threat you only need to strike it lightly with the palm of your hand, which pierces the neck of the cartridge and the weapon is then ready to fire. A revolver prepared in this way can be carried indefinitely without the risk of seal degradation. After activation, a so-called pressure indicator extends above the grip, indicating that the revolver is pressurised.
Other minor changes include a non-slip grip texture, sights with fiber optic rods to make aiming easier even in poor light conditions, an upper Picatinny rail extended by 1 slot for easier mounting of larger red dots, and a deepened area around the magazine release.
The lower Picatinny rail for installing a laser or flashlight and the convenient trigger-integrated safety remain unchanged.
As ammunition you can use all types of RAM balls, such as rubber, pepper or marking projectiles. Thanks to the rotary magazine, the revolver is also compatible with non-spherical projectiles.

Since the weapon is powered by CO2 cartridges, the rubber seals can gradually become brittle and crack due to the freezing carbon dioxide. You can prevent this by occasionally applying silicone oil 1) in a spray, where you simply spray the internal mechanism, 2) by applying a few drops of silicone oil to the neck of the inserted cartridge, 3) by using an oil cartridge (the easiest). At the same time, we do not recommend leaving an activated cartridge in the weapon any longer than necessary. If you know you will not be shooting for some time, release the pressure by loosening the valve.
