This air pistol named Optima Hatsan Jet II is exceptional compared to the competition because you can transform it into a compact carbine within seconds using the detachable stock. The stock with a rubber butt offers the possibility to adjust the overall length, and the cheek rest is also height adjustable.
The barrel, reaching a length of 200mm, is shrouded and has an internal thread 1/2 UNF at the end. For installing a moderator, the supplied 1/2 UNF Male/Male adapter can be used.
Thanks to two cartridges, this pistol contains double the amount of air (80 ccm) compared to the Jet I model (40 ccm). It thus allows more shots per single filling. The filling pressure is 250 bars. The pressure can be easily read on the manometer located at the front part of the cartridge.
The pistol unusually features 3 folding sights, where the combination of the front + rear sight is used for pistol-style shooting, and the front + middle sight is used for carbine mode shooting. Alternatively, you can install a collimator or a rifle scope on the 11mm dovetail running along the entire length of the pistol. Additional accessories can be mounted on the two Picatinny rails on the sides of the cartridge. The current pressure is indicated by the manometer located at the end. Filling is done using a standard quick connector adapter.
The loading lever is located on the left side, so you don’t have to remove your finger from the trigger when reloading. The manual safety is built directly into the trigger guard, and the ergonomically shaped grip is symmetrical, making this air rifle suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters.
The Optima air rifles are manufactured by the Turkish producer Hatsan, just under a different name. All spare and tuning parts are identical for both brands. Only the marking on the air rifle and the printing on the box differ.
