PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
With this modified pin you can increase the maximum power of 1st generation T4E weapons (only models with Quick-Piercing feature).
Compatible with the following 1st Generation T4E weapons:
- HDR 50 and HDR 50L
- HDP 50
- HDR 68
- HDB 68
Principle of operation
RAM guns with a Quick-Piercing system in the grip contain a movable valve with a pin which, when the palm strikes the valve, pierces the inserted CO2 cartridge. This pin is shortened and therefore creates a smaller hole in the cartridge, reducing the amount of gas released per shot.
If you leave the restrictor / limiter in the gun (a round metal plate with a hole, located in the CO2 cartridge chamber) and the valve (metal part above the restrictor, not present on some models), you will reduce the muzzle energy and increase the shot capacity per cartridge.
To increase the energy of the gun, it is necessary to remove the restrictor / limiter (can be easily unscrewed) and the valve (disassembly of the weapon is required – if it contains a valve). With higher energy, the number of shots is reduced to 6 to 10 depending on the type of weapon.
