PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Morakniv magnesium fire starter is a simple tool that can mean the difference between life and death in the wilderness. To start a fire, just scrape off the surface layer and strike firmly several times against the spine of your knife blade. The magnesium will then produce sparks with a temperature of up to 3,000°C. That is more than enough to ignite wood shavings, needles or leaves.
The fire starter has a solid construction, a polymer handle and is 10 cm long. The diameter of the ferro rod is 8 mm. It weighs only 66 g. Thanks to this, it fits comfortably in your pocket or you can carry it on a cord with your keys. The handle has a hole for threading paracord.
