Fenix CL23 is an outdoor lantern with a wide range of uses. Thanks to its high durability, weight of only 140 g, and exceptional performance, it will be appreciated not only by hikers. The maximum output of the lantern is 300 lm with a beam distance of an impressive 20 metres.
The lantern is equipped with white and red LED diodes. The white diodes offer 6 different light modes with an output of 300 lm (runtime 7.5 h), 150 lm (runtime 13 h), 40 lm (runtime 45 h), side lighting 25 lm (runtime 80 h), bottom lighting 25 lm (runtime 80 h), or bottom lighting 2 lm (runtime 350 h). The red LED diodes then emit 1 lm either as constant light (runtime 150 h) or flashing (runtime 300 h).
It is powered by 3 AA batteries, which are included in the package. In an emergency, you can also use fewer batteries, but the higher modes will not be available. Under the Fenix logo on the front of the lantern you will find the control button. A long press is used to switch the lantern on and off. A short press when it is on then cycles through the modes. A double click when it is on switches the lantern to the red modes.
The lantern is made from durable polymer, which easily withstands a drop from a height of 1 metre, so you don’t have to worry if it falls off the table. At the same time, it also boasts an IP66 rating, so it withstands even heavier rain. It has a hanging loop and a thread for mounting on a tripod.
