WARNING! The cartridge of the gun should ideally contain at least 50 BAR so that it can be further refilled with a hand pump. The first filling of an empty cartridge must be carried out from a scuba tank or using a sufficiently powerful compressor!
The latest pump model from the English manufacturer Hill designated MK5 Pro features a beautiful nickel-plated finish. On the Czech market it ranks among the highest-quality pumps. It is, of course, equipped with a pressure gauge, and the hose has a 1/8" fitting. After filling the cartridge, you must first release the pressure from the hose and only then disconnect it. Mounting on a G5/8 valve, which is standard on all more modern scuba tanks.
For Hill pumps we offer all spare parts, seal kits and replacement filter inserts.
With the Hill MK5 pump it is possible to reach a filling pressure of up to 275 BAR/4500 psi.
If your air rifle has a filling pin that is not threaded, you need to purchase a quick coupler for the connection.
We always recommend using a filter as well. Without it, the cartridge may corrode. This will be taken into account in the event of a warranty claim.

Definitely do not recommend – after about 200 shots from the air rifle and
the corresponding number of pumping the pump „froze“, i.e. it put resistance
when trying to pump and when moving in the opposite direction, solved by
complaint – it came yesterday, without explanation, what the problem was,
after the repair it irregularly skips – when trying to pump it goes down
without resistance, so called „empty“, it does not pump air, when trying
again it does pump, but it cannot be pressed completely. In short, a
disappointment!

In my opinion the pump has only one drawback, which is that you can’t pump for
a longer time continuously. After just a few minutes the pump gets extremely
hot. At that point you have to wait until it cools down, otherwise you risk
destroying it (happened to me twice). It took me about 30 minutes to pump a
cartridge of about 300 ml so that the pump could handle it.
For anyone who’s just starting, I recommend a bottle instead of the pump, or
switching to a break-barrel air rifle. It feels to me like there’s no
compromise between those two options.
