This electric high-pressure compressor HILL EC-3000 EVO from the time‑proven English manufacturer Hill is the ideal solution for everyone who wants to be 100% self-sufficient when filling PCP air rifles.
It is easy to operate using a blue backlit display with a rotary controller, which shows the actual filling pressure, the air temperature and the desired pressure value. The compressor can handle pressure up to 310 bar (4500 psi). Once the desired pressure is reached, it switches off automatically. It is protected against overheating by a thermal fuse. The compressor is air-cooled.
The outlet air is completely dehumidified thanks to the filter. All collected moisture is accumulated in a chamber which must be vented through a valve after you finish work.
The compressor can be powered from a standard 230V / 50Hz mains supply or a generator with an output from approx. 2.5 kW.
The EC-3000 EVO model has not yet been officially approved for producing breathable air, therefore it cannot be used to fill breathing air cylinders (e.g. for diving).
Likewise, it is strongly not recommended to fill high-volume pressure cylinders (e.g. 3 l and 7 l diving cylinders with gauge and hose from our e-shop) in a domestic environment. This is a potentially dangerous process that should only be carried out by a qualified person. If the correct procedure is not followed, filling old, damaged or corroded cylinders may even lead to an explosion. This compressor is therefore designed exclusively for direct filling of PCP air rifle cartridges.
We recommend purchasing the drying filter to remove residual moisture in the filling hose.
The compressor requires professional maintenance and replacement of worn parts after every 50 and 100 hours of operation. The current number of operating hours can be seen on the display when you switch the compressor on. Regular servicing significantly extends the service life of the compressor.
