The riflescope Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 IR Rimfire 22 has a durable one-piece aluminium tube, and the reticle is etched directly into the lens, which guarantees high resistance to recoil even with hunting calibres and powerful spring-piston air rifles. The tube is nitrogen-filled, which prevents internal fogging of the optical system during sudden temperature changes. The lenses are coated with 11 protective layers.
The Rimfire .22 LR HV reticle is located in the second focal plane. Low-profile turrets allow adjustment in 1/4 MOA clicks. On this model the parallax is fixed at 75 yds (69 m).
