Hawke AIRMAX 3–9×40AO AMX is made from a single piece of durable aluminium
and offers variable magnification of 3–9×. The riflescope has a
nitrogen-filled construction, adjustment in MOA units, and parallax correction.
The low-profile turrets are capped, so you do not need to worry about accidental
changes to your settings. The optical system belongs to the second focal
plane group.

The eyepiece has fast focusing (Fast Focus) and the lenses are equipped with a sixteen-layer MC coating. The gas inside the system ensures that the objective and eyepiece lenses do not fog up. The riflescope is also waterproof and shockproof. Inside the AIRMAX models there is a etched AMX reticle.
Horizontal and vertical adjustment is in Minute Of Angle scale – one click equals ¼ MOA. The adjustment turrets have a low profile and are capped, so the set values will not change without the user’s knowledge. Parallax adjustment is handled via an adjustment ring behind the objective; its range is from 10 yds to infinity. The variable magnification range of 3-9x is suitable mainly for lower-powered rifles – for example rimfire rifles or air rifles. The riflescope belongs to the second focal plane.
