The Vortex system uses a gas‑pressurised piston instead of a spring. This reduces recoil and noise that would otherwise be generated by the spring. The air rifle also delivers a more stable performance. The long 450 mm rifled barrel guarantees high accuracy.
The main safety feature is an automatic safety, which is easily accessible with the thumb.
The stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece offers excellent ergonomics and is suitable for both right‑ and left‑handed shooters. The rubber butt pad at the end fits comfortably in the shoulder and absorbs the remaining recoil.
As standard, the Hatsan is fitted with TruGlo fibre‑optic sights, and if you are considering mounting a scope, you will have no problem thanks to the 11 mm mounting rail.
