Monocular Fomei 20-60x80 Foreman ED (A) is a spotting scope with a durable aluminium body. It is suitable for observing animals in nature, especially from static positions such as high seats and blinds. It is also useful on shooting ranges. It will also be appreciated by photographers and ornithologists. Fine focusing ensures a sharp image at any eyepiece setting. The monocular is also resistant to water and dust.
The scope, like Fomei riflescopes, is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents internal lenses from fogging even in adverse weather. The scope features full-glass ED optics and lenses with SMC anti-reflective coating to ensure the highest possible light transmission. Thanks to the 80 mm objective diameter, the transmission is already significantly higher than with most conventional riflescopes or binoculars.
The monocular has a “Dual Focusing” function, i.e. dual focusing. It is used for coarse and fine focusing, which you will mainly appreciate when observing at long distances, for example in ornithology or target shooting. If you purchase a DSLR adapter and a T2 adapter, you can use the monocular as a lens for Canon or Nikon DSLRs.
Thanks to the 20-60x magnification you will see much more detail than through your riflescope. The ring clamp has a universal 1/4" tripod thread. The “A” version, i.e. “angled”, has an angled eyepiece, which is particularly useful when mounted on a tripod. The observer does not need to lean back much to see the night sky or birds. In addition, you can mount it on lower tripods. It is supplied with a practical protective case.
