The Turkish manufacturer Ekol has fitted a classic air rifle with a polymer shroud and you can see the result for yourself. If you want to stand out from the crowd and own an unusual air rifle, then the Ekol MS450 is the right choice.
Its operating principle does not differ in any way from a standard break-barrel rifle. The rifled barrel with a length of 375 mm is also nothing out of the ordinary. It uses 4.5 mm calibre lead pellets as ammunition. The plastic stock is extendable, so it can be adjusted to the shooter’s needs.
It shares with the live-fire original the typical removable carry handle, which houses an adjustable rear sight for elevation and windage, exactly as we know it from the M16. The fixed sights can be replaced with an optic, which can be mounted on a 22 mm rail hidden under the handle.
The manual safety is located inside the trigger guard area and is operated by pushing it forwards and backwards. The air rifle even includes sling swivels. For more comfortable shooting, the manufacturer has added a plastic bipod to the package.
