The Turkish manufacturer Ekol has fitted a classic air rifle with a polymer shroud and you can see the result for yourself. If you want to stand out from the crowd and have an unconventional air rifle, then the Ekol M450 is the right choice.
In principle it does not differ at all from a classic break-barrel. Likewise, the rifled barrel with a length of 375 mm does not depart from the norm. As ammunition it uses lead pellets in calibre 4.5 mm.
It shares with the live-fire original the typical detachable carry handle, which houses a fully adjustable rear sight for elevation and windage, exactly as we know it from the M16. The fixed sights can be replaced with an optic, which can be mounted on a 22 mm rail hidden under the handle.
The manual safety is located inside the trigger guard area and is operated by sliding it forwards and backwards. The air rifle is even equipped with sling swivels. For more comfortable shooting the manufacturer has added a plastic bipod to the package.
