Fancy a spring air rifle with the look of a real M16 assault rifle? Its
principle is no different from a classic break-barrel.
Would you like a spring break-barrel air rifle with the look of a real assault rifle M16? The Turkish manufacturer Ekol has fitted a classic air rifle with a polymer cover and you can see the result for yourself. If you want to stand out from the crowd and own an unusual air rifle, then the Ekol M450 is the right choice.
Its operating principle does not differ from a classic break-barrel. Likewise, the rifled barrel with a length of 375 mm is completely standard. As ammunition it uses lead pellets in 4.5 mm calibre.
It shares with the real counterpart the typical detachable carry handle, which houses an adjustable rear sight for elevation and windage, exactly as we know it from the M16. The fixed sights can be replaced with an optic that can be mounted on a 22 mm rail hidden under the handle.
You will find the manual safety inside the trigger guard; it is operated by sliding it forwards and backwards. The air rifle even comes with sling swivels. For more comfortable shooting the manufacturer has added a plastic bipod to the package.
