PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Bunaty Mini Full HD trail camera ranks among the smallest trail cameras on the market. The manufacturer likes to compare its size to a pack of cigarettes. It is a little bigger, but even so, that’s an impressive achievement for a trail camera. The camera boasts two illumination LEDs. Thanks to them, it can use an invisible flash at night with a range of 12 metres. Photos are taken at a resolution of up to 16 MPx and video in Full HD. The camera stores data (photo and video) on an SD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Once the SD card reaches its maximum capacity, the camera will either stop recording or will overwrite old recordings.
The trail camera is powered by four AA batteries (4xAA). You can switch it between three different modes: off, on and test. The first two are obvious — camera off and camera on. In test mode you then set everything according to your requirements.
The biggest advantage of this trail camera is the relatively large colour LCD screen and six clearly labelled buttons. These two elements make setting the various functions of the camera significantly easier. Another major plus is the clear Czech-language menu. The LCD screen is also a great help when positioning the camera itself. You don’t have to wait a long time for the first shot only to find out that you have managed to photograph just the thief’s legs. You see the final view immediately after switching to the on mode. For 45 seconds the screen shows exactly what the lens is capturing. During this time you must position the camera.
In the menu you can set a fairly wide range of different functions. The camera will take one, two or up to three images in quick succession. You can also set the length of the recorded video from a few seconds up to ten minutes. Keep in mind that the longer the video, the more space it will take up on the SD card. Unlike some competing models, you can record video also with sound. If you go through the menu carefully, you will find that you can also set the motion sensor sensitivity and the illumination level.
Particularly noteworthy is the trigger interval, i.e. the time between individual shots. So if you set five minutes and the sensor detects movement for 14 minutes, it will take three images. The camera can also be used for time-lapse recording. Alternatively, you can set it to be active only at night. You can even password protect the trail camera to prevent unauthorised access.
