Barnett Tactical 380 W belongs to the category of compound crossbows suitable for hunting. It is no wonder that the American brand Barnett is a market leader. The difference between this brand and cheaper Chinese-made crossbows is obvious at first glance. The body of the crossbow is made of high-quality durable polymer in a digital grey camo finish. On the foregrip and in the grip area you will find a rubberised anti-slip surface. The crossbow will therefore not slip out of your hands, even when they are sweaty. Comfort and overall quality are further enhanced by the metal trigger and the CNC‑machined aluminium arrow release rail.
With a draw weight of 200 lb, it ranks among the most powerful crossbows in our range. Fired bolts leave the limbs at a speed of 380 fps, i.e. over 115 m/s. To outrun the bolt, you would have to reach a speed exceeding 415 km/h. Arrow release is controlled by TriggerTech technology, which also minimises friction of the bolt in the crossbow. The arrow thus leaves the crossbow very quickly and heads straight to the target.
Safety is ensured by a clearly visible and easily accessible safety on both sides of the crossbow. A comfortable foregrip is covered by a finger guard. String dampeners ensure quiet shooting.
The crossbow also boasts a manually adjustable stock length with a rubber butt pad. Thanks to this, it can be adapted even to shooters with an atypical body shape. You unlock the stock by pressing the red safety catch on the underside of the stock. You therefore do not need any special tools for adjustment. The stock length can be set in seven fine steps. If necessary, you can even pull the stock out completely.
The crossbow is fitted with a raised 22 mm Weaver rail, on which the manufacturer has already mounted a 4x32 crossbow scope. In the front part of the body you will find three additional 22 mm rails for mounting accessories such as a bolt holder or a torch. In addition to the scope and 3‑bolt holder, the package also includes a rope cocking device, string wax and two 20" carbon bolts.
