Spring air rifles are simple to use. Just cock the rifle, insert a pellet,
release the safety and shoot. Even a child can handle it. The biggest advantage
of spring-powered air rifles is their low price. You don’t need much equipment
to start shooting. A tin of pellets and a cleaning kit is enough. Those who
want to shoot at longer distances will also go for a riflescope.

Air rifle set with Valiant 6x40 scope and mounts. Classic spring-powered rifle. This model is cocked by breaking the barrel. The rifle is manufactured by SPA. The gun is supplied with a black synthetic stock with checkering in the grip area. To better absorb recoil, the buttplate is made of solid rubber. The cheekpiece is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. Behind the trigger, which is made of metal, there is a manual safety that prevents accidental discharge. Please note that when the barrel is broken, the rifle is not automatically engaged on safe, so for safety it is always necessary to move it manually to the Safe position. This operation is very simple and intuitive. On the receiver there are grooves for mounting a scope mount. This dovetail has a size of 11 mm. The classic open sights are equipped with the Tru-glo system (the rear sight is green, the front sight red). The front sight is protected by a plastic hood. Horizontal and vertical adjustment is precise and smooth. The barrel of the gun is rifled, therefore we recommend using diabolo pellets. The advantage of these scopes is their versatility and reliability at a reasonable price. The optics are packed in a rigid cardboard box, which is enclosed in a transparent plastic sleeve. The scope from the Lynx series has a fixed magnification of 6x and an objective size of 40 mm. The model is suitable for all firearms and airguns without limitation. An ideal optic for medium distances, but it always depends on the size of the target. Shooting at shorter distances is possible thanks to parallax adjustment starting at 10 yds. Vertical and horizontal adjustment is via low, exposed turrets. One click is 1/4 MOA at 100 yds. The main reticle for this model is a metal 24x Mil-Dot. On the left turret of the scope there is reticle illumination, which can be used in lower visibility conditions, or for example if the reticle blends with the target background. The shooter can choose from eleven intensity levels of red. Thanks to the wide range, unpleasant glare from the red illumination is not an issue. The battery is not included and must always be purchased separately. The suitable battery is CR2032. Of course, the scope also features dioptre correction, adjustable in the range of ±2 dioptres. Practical experience: A compact scope suitable for all air rifles as well as firearms. An advantage is the one-piece tube construction. Horizontal and vertical adjustment is very precise and provides clear feedback in the form of an audible click, so the shooter can be sure that the required reticle movement has been registered.
